Bush hails Israeli, Palestinian commitment to peace

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - U.S. President George W. Bush said on a visit to Israel on Wednesday that Israeli and Palestinian leaders were prepared to make difficult choices for peace.

"Both leaders are determined to make the hard choices necessary," Bush told a joint news conference with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. "If you are asking me if I am nudging them forward, well my trip was a pretty significant nudge."
