FACTBOX: Donors' aid pledges for Afghanistan
(Reuters) - Over 65 countries and more than a dozen international organizations met at a conference in Paris on Thursday to pledge funds for Afghanistan.
Afghanistan's government asked donors to fund a $50 billion five-year development plan, for which donors will demand that Kabul do more to fight corruption which has deterred investment.
French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner said the total reached was about $20 billion, but organizers did not provide a breakdown of that sum.
Below is a list of pledges announced by countries and organizations at the conference.
Some states said they were prepared to increase their contributions but did not say how much they would spend. Those pledges have not been included.
