Zimbabwe court postpones hearing on vote recount

HARARE (Reuters) - A Zimbabwe court on Tuesday postponed by a day a hearing on the opposition MDC's application to block a recount of all votes cast in 23 constituencies during the country's disputed elections 17 days ago.

Judge Antonia Guvava deferred the application to 4 a.m. EDT on Wednesday, saying she will then rule on whether the Movement for Democratic Change's legal team will be permitted to file supplementary evidence or whether the case should be dismissed.
