(Reuters) - Baseball great Roger Clemens' reputation was on the line on Wednesday as the pitcher and his former trainer testified before Congress over allegations Clemens received injections of steroids.

Following are some facts about Clemens, 45.

* Clemens, who has not yet decided if he will play in 2008, has won 354 games during his 24-year career and is one of only four pitchers to record more than 4,000 strikeouts. His 354 victories make him eighth in all-time rankings among major league pitchers, and his 4,672 strikeouts rank him second.

* Clemens has made 11 All-Star Game appearances and was named the American League Most Valuable Player in 1986.

* He has won the Cy Young Award as the best pitcher in his league seven times, a record.

* Clemens' 46 shutouts rank 26th all-time among major league pitchers.

* On April 29, 1986, Clemens became the first pitcher in history to strike out 20 batters in a nine-inning major league game.

* Clemens has pitched for four teams: the Boston Red Sox, Toronto Blue Jays, New York Yankees and Houston Astros.

* He posted a 6-6 record in his last season for the Yankees after joining them in mid-season.
