(Reuters) - The following list ranks the largest acquisitions of U.S. companies by international firms, according to Thomson Reuters.

InBev NV's $52 billion agreement to buy Anheuser-Busch Cos Inc, which would create the world's largest beer maker, ranks as the second-largest, behind the 1999 purchase of AirTouch Communications Inc by Vodafone Group Plc.
