FACTBOX: Calendar of presidential primaries

(Reuters) - Here is a calendar of the remaining 2008 presidential nominating state primaries and caucuses. In some states the contests are non-binding and separate caucuses or conventions are scheduled to select delegates to the national conventions.

MAY

* May 6: Indiana, North Carolina

* May 13: Nebraska (Republican), West Virginia

* May 16-18: Hawaii's Republican Party will conduct its state convention; delegates are selected during a weeklong process.

* May 20: Kentucky, Oregon

* May 27: Idaho (Republican)

JUNE

* June 3: Montana, New Mexico (Republican), South Dakota

AUGUST

* August 25-28: Democratic National Convention in Denver

SEPTEMBER

* September 1-4: Republican National Convention in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota

NOVEMBER

* November 4: Election Day
