(Reuters) - Twenty of the world's top greenhouse gas polluters are discussing ways to curb carbon emissions from industries and fund cleaner energy projects for poorer nations during three-day talks in Japan.

Following is a summary of latest available data for the top 50 emitters in millions of tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent.
