New Zealand PM says to guarantee bank deposits

WELLINGTON (Reuters) - New Zealand will join bigger neighbor Australia in guaranteeing bank deposits in a coordinated effort to combat the global financial crisis, broadcaster TVNZ said on Sunday, quoting Prime Minister Helen Clark.
