BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Iraqi lawmakers postponed a crucial vote on a landmark security deal with Washington on Wednesday to the following day, a senior Shi'ite lawmaker said.

A vote on the deal, which would have paved the way for a U.S. troop withdrawal by the end of 2011, had been scheduled for Wednesday but talks with Sunni lawmakers over their demands for political reforms delayed the session.

Their approval is seen as key for broad consensus.
