China April copper imports at 300,000 tons

BEIJING (Reuters) - China’s imports of copper fell 30.2 percent from month ago to 300,000 tons in April, data from the General Administration of Customs showed.

Copper imports to China, the world’s leading copper and aluminum consumer, include anode, refined, alloy and semi-finished copper products.

The country exported 430,000 tons of unwrought aluminum and aluminum products, including primary, alloy and semi-finished aluminum products, in April, up from March’s 410,000 tonnes.
