EU exec says there is no euro zone aid plan for Greece

BRUSSELS (Reuters) - The European Union executive denied on Monday a German magazine report that the euro zone could provide aid to Greece of 20-25 billion euros, saying such a plan did not exist.

“There is no such plan because Greece has not requested a single euro in financial aid,” European Commission spokesman Amadeu Altafaj told a news conference.
