Ticketmaster to buy ticketing service Paciolan

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Online box office service Ticketmaster said on Monday it reached an agreement to buy ticketing services and software company Paciolan as it broadens its reach in the sports and entertainment events industry.

Privately held Paciolan serves 190 clients in North America, including college and professional sports teams, performing arts groups and museums. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Paciolan’s selling shareholders include venture capital groups Technology Crossover Ventures, Argentum Capital Partners and Marwit Capital Co. Ticketmaster is part of IAC/InterActiveCorp IACI.O.
