FOREX-Dollar gains on strong consumer sentiment data
NEW YORK,July 24 (Reuters) - The dollar extended gains against the yen and pared losses against the euro on Friday after a report showed a stronger-than-expected U.S. consumer sentiment reading for July.
The dollar rose to 107.74 yen, up 0.3 percent on the day, from 107.65 yen <JPY=> before the data. The euro traded at $1.5693, compared with $1.5695 <EUR=> before the data. (Editing by Theodore d'Afflisio)
