NEW YORK, June 6 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks fell after the open on Wednesday as data showing higher-than-expected labor costs and rising bond yields suggested that the Federal Reserve may be in no rush to cut interest rates any time soon.

The Dow Jones industrial average .DJI was down 46.49 points, or 0.34 percent, at 13,548.97. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index .SPX was down 5.85 points, or 0.38 percent, at 1,525.10. The Nasdaq Composite Index .IXIC was down 13.05 points, or 0.50 percent, at 2,598.18.
