US STOCKS SNAPSHOT-Wall St rises on China data, Fed rate view

NEW YORK, Nov 11 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks added to gains in early morning trading on Wednesday as surprisingly strong economic data from China and comments from Federal Reserve officials on continued low interest rates whetted investors' appetite for risk.

* The Dow Jones industrial average .DJI rose 72.63 points, or 0.71 percent, to 10,319.60. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index .SPX gained 9.31 points, or 0.85 percent, to 1,102.32. The Nasdaq Composite Index .IXIC put on 20.93 points, or 0.97 percent, to 2,172.01. (Reporting by Leah Schnurr; Editing by Padraic Cassidy)
