NEW YORK, Oct 24 (Reuters) - Verizon Wireless settled a lawsuit over voice mail technology with the owners of the patent, Klausner Technologies Inc, according to inventor Judah Klausner.
He did not disclose the financial terms of the settlement, which was reached on Thursday, and Verizon said it could not confirm the deal.
The technology in question helps send visual alerts to computers or mobile telephones when a user has a voice message.
It also settled with Comcast Corp (CMCSA.O) and Cablevision CVC.N in recent months, while outstanding cases include those against Embarq Corp EQ.N and Google Inc (GOOG.O). (Reporting by Ritsuko Ando; Editing by Derek Caney)
