At the 11th hour, the House of Representatives approves a last-ditch Senate bill extending tax cuts for most Americans and delaying deep spending cuts for two months. But the move sets up a new ''fiscal cliff'' in March, when $109 billion in across-the-board spending cuts kick in and the U.S. hits the debt ceiling. (January 1, 2012)
