Arizona is among the latest U.S. states to suffer an outbreak of wildfire. The fast-spreading flames tore through more than 800 hectares in a matter of hours. Fire-fighters are tackling the inferno from the air hoping to slow its progress. The blaze is burning its way through forest about 160 kilometres north of Phoenix. Officials say at least 25 homes in its path have been evacuated. Other major wildfires are sweeping their way through parts of Colorado, California and Alaska.
