* BAGHDAD - Two roadside bombs in northern Baghdad targeting a police patrol near a market killed two people and wounded eight, police said.
KIRKUK - One civilian was killed and three people, including two police, were wounded by a roadside bomb in southern Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.
KIRKUK - Gunmen killed an off-duty soldier in Kirkuk, police said.
BAGHDAD - One person was killed and five were wounded by a bomb that exploded near a public swimming pool in Amil district in southwestern Baghdad, police said.
TAL AFAR - Two suicide bombers killed 34 people and wounded at least 60 in Tal Afar, 420 km (260 miles) northwest of Baghdad, police said.
BAGHDAD - Twin bombs went off in a market in Sadr City in northeastern Baghdad, killing seven people and wounding 20, police said.
BAGHDAD - Four people were wounded by a bomb planted on a bicycle in the al-Shurta al-Raaba district in southwestern Baghdad, police said.
BAGHDAD - A bomb planted on a minibus wounded two people in the Saidyia district of southern Baghdad, police said.
KIRKUK - On Wednesday, a roadside bomb wounded three policemen in central Kirkuk, police said.
BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb killed two civilians and wounded five others on Wednesday in Abu Ghraib, on Baghdad's western outskirts, police said.
