FACTBOX: Security developments in Iraq
(Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 7:30 a.m. EDT on Thursday:

* BAGHDAD - A bomb attached to a car killed a man and wounded another two men in the Bayaa district of southwestern Baghdad, police said.
* MUSSAYAB - Iraqi police arrested a wanted militant from Shi'ite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr's Mehdi Army on Wednesday in Mussayab, 60 km (40 miles) south of Baghdad, police said.
* MAHAWEEL - Iraqi police arrested two gunmen and seized weapons from their car on Wednesday in Mahaweel, 85 km (50 miles) south of Baghdad, police said.
MOSUL - Gunmen shot dead an off-duty policeman in Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said. The policeman fired back, killing one of his attackers.
BAGHDAD - U.S. forces detained 21 suspected militants in various parts of northern Iraq, the U.S. military said. They included eight suspected al Qaeda militants in Tarmiya, 25 km (15 miles) north of Baghdad, six in Mosul and four suspected members of an alleged car-bombing network in Baiji, 180 km (112 miles) north of Baghdad.
TUZ KHURMATO - Iraqi police found a body inside a car in Tuz Khurmato, 170 km (105 miles) north of Baghdad, police said. The body carried gunshot wounds and showed signs of torture.
