TABLE - Final Zimbabwe senate election results

(Reuters) - Below are final official senate -- the upper house of parliament -- election results announced by Zimbabwe's electoral commission.

Ruling ZANU-PF 30*

Opposition MDC 24

Breakaway MDC faction 6

* Includes one uncontested seat.

MDC - Movement for Democratic Change

A total of 60 seats are being contested. Control of the senate depends on who becomes Zimbabwe's president. He and tribal chiefs will appoint the remaining seats. There are a total of 93.

No official results have been published yet from the presidential election, also held on March 29.
