TBILISI (Reuters) - Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili on Wednesday said he would expel several Russian embassy staff from Tbilisi, after accusing Russian special services of stirring civil unrest in his nation.

"The Georgia's Foreign Ministry today declared several Russian embassy employees persona non grata," Saakashvili said during a televised address to the nation. He added they were accused of "espionage activity".

Russia's RIA news agency cited an unidentified diplomatic source as saying Russia was expelling 3 embassy employees from Tbilisi.
