BRUSSELS (Reuters) - NATO said on Monday reports that Bosnian Serb warcrimes indictee Radovan Karadzic had been arrested was long-awaited good news.

"If this information is confirmed, this is indeed good news for the international community and this is news we have been hoping for quite some time," a NATO spokesman said.

"This is good news in terms of what we are expecting from Serbia. It needs to be seen in a positive light," he said.
