Assad says "crucial" round of talks with Israel postponed
DAMASCUS (Reuters) - A "crucial" round of indirect talks between Syria and Israel has been postponed because of the resignation of an Israeli negotiator, President Bashar al-Assad said on Thursday.
Assad was speaking at the start of a four way summit in the Syrian capital with the participation of France to discuss efforts for a peace deal between Syria and Israel.
