China condemns attacks on its embassies
BEIJING (Reuters) - China on Monday condemned attacks on its embassies abroad in the wake of its crackdown on rioting in Tibet, calling them a serious threat to safety.
"We strongly condemn the violent action of Tibet independence activists," Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao told reporters at a hastily called news conference.
