ATHENS (Reuters) - An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale shook northwestern Greece on Thursday but no damage or injuries were reported, officials said.

The epicenter of the earthquake was 330 km northwest of Athens, an Athens Geodynamic Institute official said. It was also felt on the Ionian island of Corfu.

Police in the northwestern city of Ioannina said the tremor caused concern among residents.
