ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - The lone surviving gunman captured after November's militant attacks on the Indian city of Mumbai has links to Pakistan, a Pakistani government minister said Wednesday, after media reported he was Pakistani.

"He has links to Pakistan but the investigation is ongoing," Information Minister Sherry Rehman told Reuters.

Earlier, Dawn News television, citing unidentified officials, said a Pakistani investigation had determined the gunman, Mohammed Ajmal Kasab, who is in Indian custody, was Pakistani.
