Europe stock futures signals 6th day of gains
LONDON, July 20 (Reuters) - European stock index futures pointed to a higher start for equities on Monday, rising for the sixth straight session, with sentiment aided by a last-minute $3 billion rescue of U.S. CIT Group Inc CIT.N.
At 0602 GMT, futures for the Eurostoxx 50 STXEc1, Germany's DAX FDXc1 and France's CAC 40 FCEc1 were up between 1.1 and 1.2 percent.
The pan-European FTSEurofirst 300 .FTEU3 index closed 0.4 percent higher at 870.56 points on Friday, its fifth straight day of gains. The index gained 6.9 percent last week, its best weekly rise since late November. (Reporting by Dominic Lau)
