UK Stocks -- Factors to watch on July 13
LONDON, July 13 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE was seen opening down as much as 14 points, or 0.3 percent, by financial bookmakers on Monday, stuck near a 10-week low as a forlorn demand outlook was set to keep heavyweight commodity stocks in retreat.
The blue-chip index was seen in a range from up 3 points to down 14, after it fell to 4,127.17 on Friday, the lowest closing level since April 28 as renewed jitters on the global economy sent investors scurrying out of higher risk assets.
The gloom for energy stocks deepened as crude slid below $60 per barrel, having fallen 11 percent last week, while lower metals prices will weigh on miners.
Japan's Nikkei .N225 fell for a ninth straight day on Monday on concerns about company outlooks, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng Inex .HSI lost 2 percent.
