One dead after Yemen grenade attack

SANAA, Feb 18 (Reuters) - One person was killed when a hand grenade was thrown at anti-government protesters in the Yemeni city of Taiz on Friday, witnesses said.

Eight people were initially reported wounded in the attack in which a car drove up to protesters, demanding an end to President Ali Abdullah Saleh’s rule, and a passenger threw a grenade out the window, a witness said.
