TOKYO/SYDNEY Asian shares edged down on Friday but were on track for weekly gains, while the euro became more settled after the volatility seen in the wake of the European Central Bank's decision to trim the size of its asset purchase program while also extending it for longer than many analysts had expected.

Macau authority lowers upper limit for ATM withdrawals per transaction

HONG KONG The Monetary Authority of Macao said on Friday it has lowered the upper limit for automated teller machines (ATMs) withdrawals to 5,000 patacas ($626.33) or Hong Kong dollars per transaction and clarified the daily withdrawal limit is still 10,000 yuan ($1,449.30) per day.
