July 18 (Reuters) - Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Co Ltd <0044.HK>:Prospects for group's different businesses in 2017 are mixed.‍Significantly higher losses are now expected at Haeco USA Holdings, inc. in 2017 than in 2016​.Expected results reflects loss (with effect from August 2017) of significant US work from a major customer.‍Company's financial results before exceptional items for 2017 are expected to be worse than in 2016​.  Full Article

Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd <0293.HK>: Chu Kwok Leung Ivan, an executive director and the current chief executive of Cathay Pacific, will be re-designated as a non-executive director . Rupert Bruce Grantham Trower Hogg will be appointed as chief executive officer of Cathay Pacific . Upon the above changes taking effect, there will no longer be a chief operating officer of Cathay Pacific . Gregory Thomas Forrest Hughes will be appointed as an executive director of Cathay Pacific . Martin James Murray will be retitled from finance director to chief financial officer of Cathay Pacific . Yau, Ying Wah will remain as chief executive officer of Cathay Dragon . Hogg will become chairman of Cathay Dragon and will remain the chairman of the executive committee of Cathay Dragon . Conditional agreements for restructuring of shareholdings in HAESL and SAESL have become unconditional . Sale by HAESL of its previous 20% interest in the shares of saesl resulted in a gain to haesl of approximately US$230 million .
