China Resources Enterprise Ltd Announces Resignation Of Chairman

China Resources Enterprise Ltd announced that Mr. Qiao Shibo resigned as Chairman of the Board, Executive Director and Members of the Executive Committee and Finance Committee of the Company with effect from August 17, 2012, due to other work allocation by China Resources Group. Mr. Qiao Shibo has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board and that there are no matters relating to his resignation that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company. The Board further announced that Mr. Chen Lang was appointed as Chairman of the Board and resigned as Chief Executive Officer of the Company; Mr. Hong Jie was appointed as Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director and Member of the Finance Committee of the Company.
