Wai Chun Mining Industry Group Co Ltd announced that it is expected to record a significant net loss for fiscal 2012 as compared to the loss recorded for fiscal 2011. Based on the information currently available, the significant net loss of the Company for fiscal 2012 was mainly attributable to the significant increase in cost of sales of modified starch and other biochemical business in the PRC and the proposed impairment charges to be made on certain receivables of the Company for fiscal 2012.
