TOKYU CONSTRUCTION CO LTD Expects Extraordinary Losses for FY 2013; Amends Consolidated Full-year Outlook for FY 2013

TOKYU CONSTRUCTION CO LTD announced that it is expecting an extraordinary loss of JPY 1,470 million as allowance for real estate loss, an extraordinary loss of JPY 401 million as special benefits for retirement, an extraordinary loss of JPY 311 million as loss in evaluation of securities investment, an extraordinary loss of JPY 230 million as depletion loss and an extraordinary loss of JPY 204 million as damage payment, of JPY 2,617 million in total, for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2013. The Company also announced that it has lowered the consolidated full-year outlook for revenue from JPY 232,000 million to JPY 228,000 million, net profit (loss) from JPY 700 million to JPY (600 million), but has raised the consolidated full-year outlook for operating profit from JPY 800 million to JPY 1,100 million and ordinary profit outlook from JPY 1,100 million to JPY 2,300 million for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2013. The negative outlook for revenue is mainly due to delay of progress of construction work. The positive outlook for operating profit and ordinary profit is mainly due to reduction of sales administration costs. Additionally, the Company has amended the outlook for earning per share from JPY 1.87 to an undetermined value for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2013.
