Hokuetsu Kishu Paper Co Ltd Amends Consolidated Full-year Outlook for FY Ending March 2013; Forms Technical Cooperation Agreement with Daio Paper Corp

Hokuetsu Kishu Paper Co Ltd announced that it has lowered its consolidated full-year outlook for revenue from JPY 231,000 million to JPY 210,000 million, operating profit from JPY 11,000 million to JPY 5,000 million, ordinary profit from JPY 13,500 million to JPY 12,000 million, and raised its consolidated full-year outlook for net profit from JPY 7,500 million to JPY 8,500 million and earning per share from JPY 36.70 to JPY 41.70 for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2013. This is due to the decreased demand of western paper and white board paper, as well as the increased non-operating income. According to I/B/E/S Estimates, analysts on average are expecting the Company to report full-year revenue of JPY 211.88 billion and net profit of JPY 7.95 billion. The Company also formed a technical cooperation agreement with Daio Paper Corp, on November 14, 2012. Through the agreement, the two companies will work together on coated paper and pulp manufacturing technology, as well as manufacturing technology for other products, and operation technology of plants.
