Aica Kogyo Company, Limited Announces Treasury Stock Retirement; to Merge with Wholly Owned Subsidiary

Aica Kogyo Company, Limited announced that it will retire 2,300,000 shares of its common stock, or 3.29% of its total shares outstanding, effective November 15, 2011. After the retirement, the total of its shares outstanding will be 67,590,664. The Company will also merge with its wholly owned subsidiary, GANZ CHEMICAL CO., LTD., which has been engaged in the manufacturing and sale of chemical products in Osaka, Japan, effective April 1, 2012. As a result, the Company will be the surviving company, and GANZ CHEMICAL will be dissolved.
