Showa Shell Sekiyu KK Raises Consolidated Full-year Outlook and Year-end Dividend Forecast for FY 2013

Showa Shell Sekiyu KK announced that it has raised its consolidated full-year outlook for revenue from JPY 2,710,000 million to JPY 2,880,000 million, operating profit from JPY 46,000 million to JPY 70,000 million, ordinary profit from JPY 45,000 million to JPY 70,000 million, net profit from JPY 26,000 million to JPY 48,000 million and earning per share from JPY 69.03 to JPY 127.44, for the fiscal year ending December 2013. The Company raised the outlook due to the higher oil price, the profit on inventories valuation, as well as the increased profit in solar battery business. In addition, the Company has raised its year-end dividend forecast from JPY 9.00 per share to JPY 18.00 per share, for the fiscal year ending December 2013.
