Chuo Denki Kogyo Co Ltd Lowers Consolidated Mid-year and Full-year Guidance for FY 2013

Chuo Denki Kogyo Co Ltd announced that the Company has lowered the consolidated mid-year guidance for revenue from JPY 30,000 million to JPY 25,000 million, operating profit from JPY 1,400 million to JPY 200 million, ordinary profit from JPY 1,300 million to JPY 100 million, net profit (loss) from JPY 650 million to JPY (500 million) and earning (loss) per share from JPY 20.59 to JPY (15.84) for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2013. The Company has also lowered the consolidated full-year guidance for revenue from JPY 58,000 million to JPY 47,000 million, operating profit from JPY 2,100 million to JPY 100 million, ordinary profit from JPY 2,000 million to JPY 0 million, net profit (loss) from JPY 1,000 million to JPY (500 million) and earning (loss) per share from JPY 31.67 to JPY (15.84) for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2013. The Company lowered the consolidated mid-year and full-year forecasts due to poor sales performance and decreased orders, as well as loss on impairment of fixed assets.
