Gruppa Razgulyay OAO to Open Five Pig Farms in Bashkortostan in 2015-Interfax

Interfax reported that LLC Tavros Management Company, a division of Gruppa Razgulyay OAO agribusiness group, will open five pig farming complexes in Bashkortostan in 2015 with combined capacity to produce and process 70,000 tons per year at a cost of RUB 12.5 billion, the website of the Russian internal republic's president reported. More than RUB 3.4 billion has been spent on the project so far. The project is included in the list of priority projects for the region, and it is receiving government support worth RUB 2.6 billion. Each of the five complexes will have a breeding facility and two raising and fattening facilities. In future, there are plans to build a formula feed plant with capacity of 230,000 tons of product per year and an elevator able to store up to 90,000 tons of grain. The Company also plans to build a slaughtering and processing complex with capacity for 1 million animals per year. The first phase of one pig farming complex has now opened.
