Nippon Piston Ring Co Ltd Lowers Consolidated Full-year Outlook for FY 2013

Nippon Piston Ring Co Ltd announced that it has lowered its consolidated full-year outlook for revenue from JPY 49,000 million to JPY 48,000 million, operating profit from JPY 3,500 million to JPY 2,600 million, ordinary profit from JPY 3,000 million to JPY 2,100 million, net profit from JPY 2,300 million to JPY 1,900 million and earning per share from JPY 28.00 to JPY 23.12, for the fiscal year ending March 2013. This is due to the impact of the higher yen and the decreased sales in China market.
