Toyo Denki Seizo KK Lowers Mid-year Consolidated Outlook for FY 2013

Toyo Denki Seizo KK announced that it has lowered its mid-year consolidated outlook for revenue from JPY 17,000 million to JPY 14,000 million, operating profit (loss) from JPY 200 million to JPY (500 million), ordinary profit (loss) from JPY 200 million to JPY (500 million), net profit (loss) from JPY 50 million to JPY (600 million), and earnings (loss) per share from JPY 1.04 to JPY (12.44), for the fiscal year ending May 2013. The Company lowered its mid-year consolidated outlook mainly due to the weak demand in transportation business and industrial business, as well as the increase in transportation business cost.
