Sansha Electric Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Amends Consolidated Mid-year and Full-year Guidance for FY 2013; Announces Early-retirement Program; Expects Extraordinary Loss for FY 2013

Sansha Electric Manufacturing Co., Ltd. announced that it has reaffirmed the consolidated mid-year guidance for revenue of JPY 9,500 million, raised the guidance for operating profit (loss) from JPY (200 million) to JPY 500 million, ordinary profit (loss) from JPY (200 million) to JPY 450 million, net profit (loss) from JPY (200 million) to JPY 150 million and earning (loss) per share from JPY (15.82) to JPY 11.86 for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2013. The Company has lowered the consolidated full-year guidance for revenue from JPY 21,000 million to JPY 20,000 million, raised the guidance for operating profit from JPY 600 million to JPY 1,000 million, ordinary profit from JPY 600 million to JPY 900 million, net profit from JPY 400 million to JPY 500 million and earning per share from JPY 31.63 to JPY 39.54 for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2013. The Company amended the consolidated mid-year and full-year outlook due to decreased costs. The Company has decided to offer an early-retirement program to its employees who are over 40 years old and is engaged in semiconductor related business, during the period from September 18, 2012 to September 24, 2012. The Company expects 70 employees to take up the offer. The retirement date is October 30, 2012. The Company will provide retirement payment and special allowance. The Company expects JPY 300 million extraordinary loss on the payment for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2013.
