Nihon Inter Electronics Corp Expects Extraordinary Losses for First Half of FY 2014; Amends Full-year Consolidated Outlook for FY 2014

Nihon Inter Electronics Corp announced that it expects the extraordinary losses of JPY 379 million caused by difficulty in recovery of equipment purchase expenses due to change in business alliance, as well as JPY 9 million caused by impairment loss on land located in Akita Prefecture, for the first half of fiscal year ending March 31, 2013. As a result, the Company has reaffirmed its full-year consolidated outlook for revenue of JPY 24,200 million, operating profit of JPY 1,200 million, ordinary profit of JPY 1,000 million, and lowered its full-year consolidated outlook for net profit from JPY 900 million to JPY 510 million, and earnings per share from JPY 14.09 to JPY 7.99, for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2014. This is due to the extraordinary losses.
