Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. And Chinese Partner Sell Cement Plants In South East Asia-DJ
Dow Jones reported that Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. has begun to tap the markets of Southeast Asia for its CKK cement plants, which are designed to be integrated with municipal waste incinerators and utilize the heat from incineration for lower-cost production, according to The Nikkei. The CKK system was developed by Kawasaki Heavy in collaboration with the Anhui Conch Group of China. Two separate sets of negotiations for CKK systems have already entered the final stage, and the Chinese joint venture is gearing up to export the main components for what will be Kawasaki Heavy's first sales of cement plants in Southeast Asia.
