Noda Corporation Expects Extraordinary Loss and Amends Consolidated Mid-year and Full-year Outlook for FY Ending November 30, 2011

Noda Corporation announced that it expects to record JPY 1,178 million loss on the earthquake as extraordinary loss for the fiscal year ending November 2011. Therefore, the Company raised its consolidated mid-year outlook for revenue from JPY 22,800 million to JPY 23,818 million, operating profit from JPY 600 million to JPY 1,384 million, ordinary profit from JPY 500 million to JPY 1,423 million, but lowered its consolidated mid-year outlook for net profit from JPY 440 million to JPY 282 million and earning per share from JPY 27.94 to JPY 18.26 for the fiscal year ending November 30, 2011. The Company also lowered its consolidated full-year outlook for revenue from JPY 47,400 million to JPY 46,900 million, net profit from JPY 1,060 million to JPY 800 million and earning per share from JPY 67.30 to JPY 52.99, and raised its consolidated full-year outlook for operating profit from JPY 1,380 million to JPY 2,050 million, ordinary profit from JPY 1,200 million to JPY 2,030 million, for the same fiscal year. This is also due to the decreased costs and increased sale of construction materials.
