Miroku Jyoho Service Co., Ltd announced the settlement of the lawsuit, which was filed by PFU LIMITED, against the Company and its subsidiary, demanding the payback of trading value in total price of JPY 4,040,139,390, which was caused by the severance, from the Company and its Tokyo-based subsidiary on December 28, 2007. The Company will pay JPY 500 million to PFU for the settlement. Miroku Jyoho Service Co., Ltd announced the appeal of the lawsuit, which was filed by PFU LIMITED, against the Company and its subsidiary, with the Tokyo District Court, demanding the payback of trading value in total price of JPY 4,040,139,390, which was caused by the severance, from the Company and its Tokyo-based subsidiary on December 28, 2007. In the judgment of the first trial, Tokyo District Court dismissed the appeal with the appeal costs against the plaintiff on November 30, 2011. PFU LIMITED appealed the lawsuit with Supreme Court of Japan on December 13, 2011, demanding cancellation of lost, and JPY 3,458,445,440 damages. Full Article
