Acea SpA Complaints to the Parliament and Government Against EDF SA for Facts Concerning the Acquisition by Aem Milano (now A2A SpA) and Edison SpA of Majority Shares of Edipower
Acea SpA announced that it has decided to exercise all possible legal actions in order to obtain by EDF SA the recognition of the damage suffered on the electricity market and provoked by EDF SA that in 2005, through its subsidiary Edison SpA has acquired illegally, jointly with Aem Milano, now A2A SpA, the majority of shares of Edipower, passing the threshold of 30%. Acea SpA has notified the Antitrust with a new complaint, after the one of July 2006. Acea SpA also sent to Parliament and Government the formal notice to comply.
