Abertis Infraestructuras SA:Says it has acquired 6 percent of the Autopistas Metropolitanas de Puerto Rico, LLC (Metropistas) from the investment funds managed by Goldman Sachs, GS Global Infrastructure Partners II and GS International Infrastructure Partners II.Says the price of the transaction ascended to $43.6 million (32.2 million euros).Says, as a result, Abertis has reached a 51 percent of the concessionaire for the PR-22 and PR-5 toll roads in Puerto Rico and becomes the majority shareholder of the company.Says Metropistas will now be fully consolidated in Abertis' accounts.Says it is expected to contribute approximately 85 million euros in revenue and 50 million euros in EBITDA during 2014.Says the PR-22 and PR-5 toll roads are 87 kilometers in length in total.Says the 83-kilometre PR-22 connects San Juan, Puerto Rico's capital, with the city of Arecibo.Says the PR-5 is a four-kilometer extension of the PR-22 running through the San Juan metropolitan area.  Full Article

Abertis Infraestructuras SA:Says that the company through its fully owned subsidiary, Abertis Tower SA, Telefonica SA and Yoigo, have completed the first stage of the agreement for the restructuring and rationalization of mobile passive infrastructures from Telefonica and Yoigo.Says this stage implies the acquisition of 1,741 mobile infrastructures for the amount of 171 million euros and it is part of the agreement announced on Aug. 1.Says after this transaction, equipment owned by Telefonica and Yoigo will be co-hosted in these infrastructures.Says both operators will be clients of this set of towers in the next years, and the towers will be available to any operator that may be interested.  Full Article

Abertis Infraestructuras SA (Abertis) announced that through its subsidiary, Abertis Telecom SAU, it closed the acquisition of a 16.42% stake in Hispasat from el Instituto Nacional de Tecnica Aeroespacial (INTA) on November 12, 2013.
