Abengoa SA:Has unanimously voted to submit to an Extraordinary Shareholders Meeting the approval of a capital increase with pre-emptive rights of 650 mln Euros.Proceeds will be used to reduce corporate debt by 300 mln Euros, additionally to existing commitments, and to reinforce the balance sheet.Abengoa's largest shareholder, Inversion Corporativa has stated that it will participate in capital raise with new money.Launched new plan of divestitures for a total of 500 mln Euros, including 400 mln Euros plan announced on July 31 and additional divestitures of bioenergy assets.Expects to obtain all of the proceeds no later than Q1 2016.  Full Article

Abengoa SA and Starwood Energy, private investment firm based in Greenwich, CT:Says their joint venture has been selected by California Independent System Operator (CAISO) as approved sponsor to finance, construct, own, operate and maintain the Delaney to Colorado River 500 kV transmission line project.Abengoa and Starwood Energy will undertake joint development of a 114 mile transmission line between Delaney and Colorado River substations, reinforcing the electrical interconnection between both California and Arizona.Abengoa will undertake construction, operation and maintenance of the transmission line. Total investment was initially estimated by CAISO at about 300 million dollars.project is expected to reach commercial operation in 2020 and will bring significant economic benefits to California rate payers.  Full Article
